19th Century Bridal Fashions

 

This beautiful authentic 19th Century Fashion Plate - dated 1888 - shows a bride and her friend (bride's maid?) in an elegant salon.

This plate was engraved after a drawing by Jules David, one of the greatest Fashion Plate designers of the Victorian period.

 

It is signed in the plate lower left.

 

Dimensions: Around 11 X 15 inches

Condition: Very good. Some very faint toning and creasing.
