Handcolored Fashion Plate

 

 

Handcolored 19th century fashion plates come from the magazine Les Modes Parisiennes which was published in Paris from 1843 to 1875.

 

This print was drawn by by Francois-Claudins Compte-Calix (1813-1880) who was the principle illustrator for this magazine. It is signed Compte Calix in the plate.

 

Dimensions: Around 8.25 X 11 inches

Lightly crinkled, with some light browing spotting, slightly rough edges. Some spotting soiling around the edges.
