17th Century Copperplate Engraving from Hortus Floridus

Crispyn van de Passe the Younger (1597 - 1670) was born in Utrecht into a family of well-known family of engravers. He spent most of his life in Amsterdam.

The exquisite Hortus Floridus is one of his best known works.

Dimensions: 6.5 X 10 inches

Condition: Sheet lightly worn and toned as shown. Some light spotting. Watermark of a crown over the letter R.
