The french edition of the sheet music for the song Chicago, composed by Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990) with Music by Fred Fisher (1875-1941)
Fred Fisher was born in Cologne, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1900. His sons Dan and Marvin Fisher and daughter Doris Fisher also wrote songs. See Fisher's Full Bio on in the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
The back cover has an add for the "Touareg Fox-Trot - The favorite foxtrot of the American orchestras."
The inside pages include refrains from "Gay Butterfly" - "un delicieux fox trot de Jean Schwartz" and "Barney Google - partout ou l'on danse on entend ce Fox-Trot de Billy Rose & Con Conrad.
Condition: Very lightly toned, otherwise very good. Each of the pages carries a stamp, apprently from the shop where it was originally sold: "L. Schock, Rouen, Pianos, Musiques"
