The designs for this work were made by the French artist Pierre Ranson ((French, 1736-1786), a designer at the Aubusson tapestry factory who created floral and neo-classical pattern books for ornament.
Dimensions: 22 X 28.5 cm (dimensions of platemark
(as shown in first image). There is an additional
wide margin - see last photo.
Condition: Some discoloration in the margins
(see last photo). Two small holes in outer margin
(well outside of platemark).
