A big, bright and exhuberant bouquet signed Vincent Vincent.

 

We have not been able to find more information about this artist, but a previous owner has written on the back that he was a set designer who worked in the "first third of the 20th Century".

 

The charming note continues to give a provenance of sorts! "Mommy bought this painting from a Theatre director's widow in La Sarraz along with a velour sofa which we still have...."
