Beautifully executed watecolor of a bearded man, probably a peasant farmer, wearing a cap and working clothing.

 

The painting is annotated November 1849 on the back. It is initialled L.D.

 

 

Condition: The tip of the lower left hand corner of the painting is torn.

 

Dimensions: 6 X 7 inches
