Landscape in the Jura

 

Henri Piccot was from Saint-Imier in the Bernese Jura and is associated with other early 20th Century artists from the Jura region including Adrian Holy, Pierre Staempfli and Henri Aragon.

 

The classic scenery of the Jura mountain range with pines and a red roofed mountain farm. This looks very much like the area near the Mollundruz, but could be any one of a number of mountain passes along the Jura range.
